Colorado River - Davis Dam - NV

Our local angler Gene Tafoya is showing a great example of what can be found along our shores using anchovies. Genes fish weighed in a 5.38 pounds and was 27 and 1/4 inches.

Muzzaffar Pana ( Muzz for short) and fishing buddy Mark Aguilar. They were fishing from shore near the dam up on Lake Mohave using anchovies. One of the stripers weighed in at 9.62 pounds at 31 and 1/2 inches and another of the stripers weighed in at 6.5/8 pounds at 27 and 7/8 inches.

Ben Aleman was taking advantage of the time off and camping out on the Nevada side in the big bend area and landed a nice 4.86 pound striper at 25 and 1/2 inches.
