Everyone expected Cabo would be "wiped off the map" from Hurricane Jimena, but it just isn't that way. They did get some wind and rain and moderate flooding and there were port closures, but all-in-all, it was almost a non-event as the storm passed by offshore on the Pacific and didn't make landfall until San Juanico, just above Magdalena Bay. There are some muddy streets and the clean-up has already gone into motion and fishing is already back to normal, today. There should be little if any effect on the fishing/catching and if anything, the warmer water push should enhance the catching, especially for the yellowfin tuna and the bigger black & blue marlin. The overall catch report for a total of 6 fishing days, (including the "Tuna Time" for today, with 2 wahoo, 2 yellowfin tuna and 1 striper released) reflected 3 stripers released, 1 sailfish released, 19 dorado & 2 yellowfin tuna.

Cabo Climate: Back to genuinely good weather, partly cloudy, temps from 77 nights to 97 daytime highs and calm.

Sea Conditions: Back to good fishing today, temps running 85 on the Pacific side and slowly rising to 87 around the corner and up to Los Frailes.

Best Fishing Area: Continues to be on the Pacific side, from the Golden Gate to Jaime Bank.

Best Bait/Lure: Live bait was best for the billffish and dorado. Wahoo taken on lures and the tuna on feathers.

Live Bait Supply: Remains good without anything noticeable from the passing storm.
