Captain Temo Verboonen was much more upbeat this week, albeit, there were almost no anglers fishing the boats. He reported 3 days of bad weather and port closures but once the weather cleared up, the dorado bite was back on again with some quality sized dorado in the mix. While the billfish catches remained very slow, the inshore catches came back for roosterfish along the beaches, both north & south of the Bay and the pompano catches were very good at the \"White Rocks\" using live anchovies on the bottom.

IZ Climate: Partly cloudy days but a good mix of sunshine with temps from 73 nights to 93 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: Impossible weather early in the week and becoming calm as the week progressed. Temps were stable at 88 degrees and water clarity was very good from about 18 miles offshore and along the 1000 fathom curve.

Best Lure/Bait: Live bait was best for the roosterfish and pompano. Most of the dorado were taken on artificial around floating debris from the storms.

Bait Supply: Remained good through the full moon period.
