Thin ice is forming in the Wallsburg arm and the Charleston day-use areas. The remainder of the reservoir is open water allowing for shore and boat fishing. Trout fishing is slow to fair. Shore anglers are having success fishing mornings using trout dough bait suspended off the bottom.
