Rainbow trout populations are thriving due to increased water levels from the past two seasons of heavy snowfall. Three batches of rainbow trout were stocked in this reservoir in 2023. Recent DWR sampling results show that these fish are in higher abundance than normal for this time of the year. The rainbow trout stocked in 2023 have also already exceeded 16 inches and weigh over two pounds. This means they have grown over six inches in less than a year!
