Fishing forecast (December through May): This high-elevation waterbody can be difficult to access for ice fishing. Anglers should use extreme caution and be aware of best practices for ice safety. Deep snow can make this and other high-elevation waterbodies inaccessible to wheeled vehicles. Generally, roads are clear and open by Memorial Day. Ice often melts in May. Previous years stocked rainbows will be active as water temperature rises.
