About 50% of the boats are landing billfish with the boats that fish longer days doing best, especially those on the 6-hour charters. The typical 10-fish variety for the past week for 24 trips reflected 3 white marlin, 8 sailfish, 14 dorado, 16 bonito, 6 yellowfin tuna, 24 Atlantic barracuda, 4 Spanish mackerel, 5 mutton snapper, 5 triggerfish and 4 grouper for their efforts. All in all, it was a good fishing week at Puerto Morelos as they enter into their summer fishing season. According to the Fleet Manager, Armando Gutierrez, "We should continue to see sustained action just out front that has been starting at about a half-mile from the entrance to the Marina.

PM Climate: Mostly cloudy with temps from 77 nights to 90 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: Excellent and very fishable throughout the area with temps stable at 86-87 degrees.

Best Bait: Continues to be the rigged and un-rigged ballyhoo for all of the area's variety of fish.

Bait Supply: Excellent supply available on a daily basis.
