The Salmon are moving this way with the better scores coming from the area near the East edge of the Soquel Hole. The best numbers were 36'48/121'51, 36'46/121'52, 36'48/122'52, and 36'41/121'55. The anglers who worked near the Mulligans area had slower action so you might want to fish out of Santa Cruz. The best bet was to troll the Blue Kajikis, Glow Kippled Anchovies, Glow Green Krippled Herrings, Watermelon Apexes, Smoke Apexes, and Gold Tom Mack Spoons. The fish were caught early in the morning 90-150 feet and the afternoon bite was better trolling deep. The water was nice all morning but there was some afternoon wind around 12:00. There were some nice Halibut caught of Capitola working the kelp edges in 40-50 feet of water. The Rockcod fishing was good near Natural Bridges and outside of the Mile Buoy in 75 feet of water.
