The Salmon fishing was decent for the anglers who worked the East edge of the Soquel Hole and the area near Moss Landing. There were scores that ranged from 0-6 fish a boat. The best areas were 36'50/121'55 and 36'48/121'54. The Salmon were caught from 90-150 feet down but there were a few nice Salmon caught 30-50 feet down. There are a bunch of Jellyfish out there so you have to check your lines often. The best 2 biggest fish weighed in today were caught on Blue Kajikis. There were other anglers doing well with the Watermelon Apexes, Green Kajikis, Red Krocodiles, Blue and Chrome Apexes, and Glow Krippled Anchovies. The depth was consistent from 120-190 down on the troll. There were some Halibut caught near Capitola today. The Rockcod was wide open in Monterey and there were some good scores from South Rock.
