The Salmon bite was slower today with only a fish reported from straight in front of Santa Cruz. The few fish I heard of were caught at 36'52/122'01. The Halibut and inshore Rockcod seems to be the best thing to target. I weighed in some nice Halibut caught near the Harbor and Capitola. The Halibut have been caught from 10-60 feet of water. The surf anglers are catching some small Halibut, Stripers, and Seabass near Capitola. The water was flat in the morning but the wind blew again in the afternoon.
