Very slow on anglers this past week with only 3 offshore fishing days that resulted in 1 sailfish, 3 dorado and 5 bonito. The inshore super pangas also had a difficult fishing week that also reflected 3 fishing days that produced only 2 dorado for their efforts. This is one of the slowest reports we have encountered for the inshore fishing aboard the super pangas in more than a year.

Mazatlan Climate: Warm & humid weather with temps that ranged from 73 nights to 90 daytime highs and foggy mornings.

Sea Conditions: Following a 1-day port closure the conditions remained very good throughout the area with stable temps in the 87-88 degree range, excellent clarity outside the 14 mile mark.

Best Fishing Area: None reported. The fishing was pretty slow this past week due to a lack of anglers fishing and the prevailing full moon condition.

Best Lure/Bait: The one sailfish was taken on a rigged trolling bait.

Bait Supply: The supply remained good right through the full moon phase.
