Even the full moon doesn't slow the fishing down from Puerto Morelos and the overall report reflects pretty good results for the 18 days fished, producing a 9 fish species in the catch report. The skippers reported 1 sailfish, 17 dorado, 30 bonito, 8 Spanish mackerel, 14 giant Atlantic barracuda, 17 snappers, 3 grouper 2 triggerfish and 11 soapfish.

PM Climate: Mostly cloudy throughout the area with temps ranging from 71 nights to 90 daytime highs and occasional showers predicted for the next several days.

Sea Conditions: Sea temps and clarity are excellent and stable at 85-86 degrees. Mostly light & variable surface breezes from the easterly directions in the 5-10 mph ranges.

Best Bait: Continues to be the ever-available ballyhoo, caught fresh on a daily basis and seemingly unhampered by the full moon phase.
