A slowing on the billfish bite this week for no apparent reason but the mixed bag catches included some 19 species that I could identify plus another 5 species of miscellaneous fish that were reflected in the miscellaneous catches. The overall catch report reflected 1 blue marlin, 6 sailfish, 10 doardo, 3 wahoo, 9 blackfin tuna, 31 bonito, 1 Spanish mackerel, 17 giant barracuda, 1 jack crevalle, 33 banana fish, 1 porgy, 4 soap fish, 2 kite fish, 1 shoefish, 2 clown fish, 14 pargo, 18 triggerfish, 1 crown fish and 26 grouper.

PM Climate: Mostly cloudy days with rain on Wednesday and off and on again thunder showers for Thursday. Temps holding fast at 77 nights to 88 daytime highs with high humidity.

Sea Conditions: Sea temps stable at 84-85 throughout the area. Surface breezes flowing in from the easterly directions at 5-15 mph. Some light wind-chop in the afternoons.

Best Bait: The ballyhoo continues to be the bait of choice for all of the crews and anglers in this area and continues to be provided on a daily basis.
