PROVO RIVER, LOWER: (November 06) The spawn is on! Brown trout are aggressively feeding and striking at spinners. Fly anglers report good fishing with various small nymph patterns. When brown trout spawn, they clear out depressions in the gravel of the stream bed to deposit their eggs in. Please be careful not to step on these depressions. Most anglers are fishing below Deer Creek Dam and down to the Olmstead Diversion Dam. Bait is allowed in some stretches of the river.
