STEINAKER RESERVOIR: (October 25) The lake level is well below normal, so be prepared for mud along the shorelines. Shore anglers report fair fishing with lures (bright colors and crayfish imitations) and baits. Try to fish during the cooler hours and in deeper waters. Worms with a marshmallow chaser and PowerBait (in sparkle rainbow with extra garlic scent) seem to be the top baits for trout. Letting your lure sink for a few seconds will help get it down to the fish.
