The river is running high and turbid. One angler interviewed on March 5 had fair success catching a 15-inch brown trout on a San Juan worm. Try sow bug and psycho-prince nymph patterns for sub-surface action. As water clarity decreases because of run-off, try using larger flies such as brightly colored San Juan Worms; they are easier for fish to see. Here's a look at current water levels for many Utah waterbodies, including the Ogden River.
