Early in the week, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday, were all red flag days and the boats were unable to get out fishing due to the inclement weather conditions. However, as the week progressed, the weather came right along with it and improved to a considerably more favorable conditions that not only allowed the boats to get out, prompted the fish to bite a little better for the anglers. This report period is one of the unusual and never before reported results that seemed to have everything in the order of 11. We had 11 days fished with an 11 species of fish caught that included 11 billfish for their efforts. The overall catch report reflected 3 blue marlin, (smaller fish) 1 white marlin, 7 sailfish, (a total of 11 billfish) 1 giant barracuda, 1 triggerfish, 3 dorado, 3 bonito, 1 Spanish mackerel, 4 snappers, 3 blackfin tuna and 3 strawberry fish.

PM CLIMATE: It has been a hot and humid week that was mostly cloudy, with occasional rain showers and temps that varied between 76 nights to 84 daytime highs and a couple of rough and non-fishable days.

Sea Conditions: The sea temp remained very stable through the week and held at 82 degrees. Surface breezes were flowing from the easterly directions from light to 13 mph as the week progressed from rough, windy and bumpy weather that closed the port for 3 fishing days.

Best Bait: The ever-available daily fresh caught supply of ballyhoo continued to be the bait of choice for the skippers and the anglers for all of the boats.
