When the reservoir was checked on March 4, there was a skim of ice on the surface. The ice was thicker in the northwest corner and in the east bays along the shoreline. Anglers continue to report good fishing from boats and other watercraft. Try fishing on the south side, near the creek that runs through the reservoir. Fishing from the rocky shore is also fair. Any traditional lure or bait combo seems to be working well.
