MARINA EL CID, CANCUN TO COZUMEL AREA

Another fun-fishing week at Puerto Morelos that produced a wide variety of mixed fish catches for the anglers, reflecting a better than 6 fish average per boat fishing day. Seems like this are continues to offer the smorgasbord selection of small game fish that family fishermen/fisherwomen enjoy. It's good catching of mixed species and action. Always something going on here. The overall counts for 21 days fished reflected 28 grouper, 16 red snapper, 8 triggerfish, 1 wahoo, 1 amberjack, 14 Atlantic barracuda, 46 bonito, 2 yellowfin tuna and 13 king mackerel.

PM Climate: Mostly cloudy but warm days with temps ranging from 65 nights to 82 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: Temps remain stable at 81 degrees and excellent clarity with light surface breezes.

Best Bait/Lure: The rigged and un-rigged ballyhoo continue to produce 99.9% of the catches.
