It has been another exceptional fishing week from Puerto Morelos, reflecting an average of more than 6 fish per fishing day for the 31 charter days of different durations. The fish counts reflected 10 sailfish, 4 dorado, 19 bonito, 8 blackfin tuna, 22 giant barracuda, 8 Spanish mackerel, 2 wahoo, 3 king mackerel, 2 amberjack, 38 snappers, 25 soap fish, 6 strawberry fish, 28 triggerfish, 2 grumpy fish and 20 banana fish. There was a 15 fish variety for the past week, adding plenty of excitement to each charter fishing day. The "Pescadora II" was high billfish boat for the week with a total of 4 sailfish for 3 days fished.

PM Climate: The days ranged from cloudy and partly cloudy to mostly sunny days and an occasional rain shower. Air temps were superb at 76 nights to 88 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: Surface breezes to about 13 mph and flowing in from the easterly directions. Sea temps stable at 85-86 degrees throughout the area.

Best Bait: The seemingly un-ending supply of freshly caught ballyhoo continue to be the bait of choice for the anglers and the crews.
