According to Captain Temo Verboonen, there were no anglers out fishing this past week and the boats were virtually dormant in the Bay and getting washed off by the daily rains. He also mentioned there was a new Tropical Depression offshore and out to the southwest that is providing some windy conditions and southerly swell conditions that make fishing trips much less than comfortable for the anglers. We are have daily scattered thunderstorms, particularly in the afternoons and evenings. Surface breezes blowing through from the Southeast to Westerly directions to about 15 mph and making for difficult fishing conditions. Temo says about all they can do right now is wait for the rainy season to end and re-start fishing with better overall weather. The daytime temperatures average about 87 degrees and the nighttime about 74. Humidity levels are pretty high at 89%.
Sea Conditions: Rough and windy with closures of the Port for the past 2 days and very likely for the next few days due to the tropical depression offshore.
