Captain Temo Verboonen reported another week in the doldrums for the Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo region, saying "It rained most of the week and there were no fishermen at the dock. I went fishing on Saturday for inshore fish and no fish was the result of the day. Offshore, the ocean is clean & blue, but the fishing has been very slow there, too, and the commercial pangas have little to report for their efforts\".

IZ Climate: A cloudy, rainy week that has finally turned to partly cloudy days and temps that ranged from 72 nights to 92 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: Inshore water is murky from the rainfall and considerably dirty around the mouths of the river outlets. Offshore, the water cleans up to a clean blue at about 10 miles. Water temps are stable at 86-87 throughout the area.
