The Pacific striper action is continuing its upward movement and things are beginning to look like a quasi-normal November when the main herd arrives on location. Seems like all of the Pacific side locations, Finger Bank, Golden Gate, Jaime, etc., are holding good action for the billfish and the numbers seem to be growing by the day. High boat for the week was the "Gaviota V", skippered by Captain Victor Cota, with 15 stripers released for 5 days fished and rounding out his catch with 10 dorado. Some of the boats, including Tuna Time, Gaviota VIII, were producing 5 striper release days and nearly every boat had excellent opportunities for multiple striper catches. In conjunction with the striper action, the dorado counts continued to offer in-between action for the anglers, too. Overall combined counts for 50 days fished reflected 85 stripers, (81 released) 2 yellowfin tuna and 180 dorado.

Cabo Climate: Sunny, clear and comfortably warm as we progress into the latter part of the week with temps from 63 nights to 88 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: On the Pacific side from Golden Gate and down to the Jaime Bank, the 74-75 degree water is butting-up to the 79-80 degree water that extends from Cristobal and wrapping the Cape and into the Sea of Cortez past Las Frailes. Good clarity in all areas.

Best Fishing Area: Continues to be on the Pacific side, which is normal for November, with good fishing from Todos Santos out to the Finger Bank, down to the Golden Gate and Jaime Bank and into the Cristobal Ridge.

Best Bait/Lure: Billfish and dorado were being taken on both, lures and bait and the mackerel colors were working quite well.

Bait Supply: Good supply of caballitos and a few mackerel showing up in the supply.
