Puerto Morelos had another very good fishing week for off season Sailfish & Dorado

The overall fishing reports for a total of 20 days fished reflected 1 sailfish, 1 dorado, 42 bonito, 6 giant barracuda, 2 king mackerel, 18 grouper, 41 snappers, 3 amberjack, 41 banana fish, 24 grumpy fish and 15 trigger fish. All in all, the averages were just short of 10 fish per boat day fished and accounted for an 11 fish variety in the mixed bag catches.

PM Climate: A sun-cloud mixture and great temperatures that varied from 69 nights to 87 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: A very stable sea temp at 84 degrees throughout the area with mostly light and variable surface breezes from the easterly directions up to 12 mph., and very little easterly swell condition.

Best Bait/Lure: The ballyhoo continues to be the bait the crews and anglers are focusing on and freshly caught ballyhoo are provided on a daily basis, gratis.
