Another outstanding fishing report comes from Zihuatanejo, Mexico, as the big bite on sailfish and dorado continues to captivate angler interests. According to Captain Temo Verboonen, the bite begins at about 7 miles from the Bay, along the tide/current line, that contains logs and trash that has promoted the food chain fishing action for the anglers. The area is just full of life with lots of bait, bids, dorado and sailfish. a Mr. Jan & Mr. Fred, from Holland, landed 6 sailfish, 8 dorado 15 jack crevalle and lots of bonito during their charter aboard the Secuestro De Amor. Near the White Rocks the sailfish bite was phenomenal with lots of sailfish action. The inshore fishing picked up considerably about mid-week and is still producing some quality sized roosterfish in the Saladita Beach front area. Overall, the boats were averaging multiple strikes each fishing day and averaging 4-5 fish per day with many releases.

IZ Climate: Partly cloudy days with intermittent periods of bright sunshine and temps that ranged from a comfortable 70 at night to a warm, 89 degrees for the daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: Light & variable surface breeze3s continue throughout the area, keeping the sea surface conditions pretty flat calm and temps that range from 83 inshore and rise to 84 offshore.

Best Fishing Area: Starting at about 7 miles from the Bay, along the current break and outbound from there to about 15 miles for dorado and sailfish. Also, The White Rocks were "red hot" for the sailfish. Saladita Beach was the place to be for roosterfish.

Best Bait/Lure: The rigged baits and live bait were best for the sailfish and dorado with the live bait best for the jack crevalle and roosterfish inshore.

Bait Supply: An excellent bait supply for both, fresh baits for rigging and live bait for casting.
